The plant will have an annual production capacity of approximately 3 million tons of cement, (representing over one third of local needs). It should be partly operational in early 2010 and complete by mid-2010.
Construction of the building, which currently employs over 1800 people, has implemented a rigorous health and safety policy, which bears fruits today after more than 4 million safe working hours for its entire staff.
This factory is located at 160 km northeast of Aleppo.
